What this is

MoneyMinds is a financial education product for children. Distinct from NGA's CA practice, distinct from Nexus Growth Advisors' business advisory, distinct from Dishant's books for adult business owners. Audience: kids (and the parents who buy on their behalf). Format: the full product family — course content, possible book version, parent workshops, school programs, online platform. Not just one delivery method. Voice: the practice philosophy still applies (impact creators, not fear creators), but expressed through an audience-appropriate lens — financial confidence and clarity for kids, not the language of business owners.

Status: research / pre-publication

Currently in research phase. Source material is being gathered via NotebookLM transcription of research videos.

🚫 Critical blocker: certification required before publishing

Dishant has stated (2026-05-10): MoneyMinds cannot be published, marketed, or sold until a certification is completed. This means:

• All downstream work (content production, course platform, audience building, sales, partnerships) waits on the certification
• Research and curriculum drafting can proceed in parallel — they don't trigger publication
• Marketing surfaces (A1 social posts about MoneyMinds, A2 website mentions, A4 book references) must NOT promote MoneyMinds publicly until the certification completes

Open questions about the certification (to fill in)

• Which certification is it?
• Issuing body (CFP / CISI / NISM / RBI / SEBI / other)?
• Current status: not started / in progress / near complete?
• Estimated completion: weeks / months / longer?
• What happens if not completed: legal restriction on selling? Reputational only? Both?
• Any prerequisites or co-requirements (CPD hours, prior qualifications)? This blocker is the single most important fact about A6 right now. Until the certification completes, all publication-bound work waits.

Approach

While certification is in progress, work that CAN proceed:

1. Research — ongoing via NotebookLM, building source material library
2. Curriculum design — outline, structure, age-appropriate progression
3. Voice and positioning — how the practice philosophy translates to kids/parents
4. Content sketches — not finalised, not published, but drafted for review later Work that CANNOT proceed until certification completes:

6. Course platform purchase/setup with MoneyMinds branding

Tools currently in use

• NotebookLM — transcribing research videos, will likely also be used for curriculum drafting and Q&A across source material. Added to the platform's tool inventory 2026-05-10.

Connections to other agendas

• A4 (Books) — Adjacent. Books currently target adult business owners. A MoneyMinds book for kids/parents may emerge from this work — to be decided later.
• A1 (Social media) — Currently speaks to business owners. A separate audience cluster (parents) may eventually need its own content surface. Defer until after certification.
• A2 (Website) — ngaca.net is for the CA firm. MoneyMinds may need its own website at some point. Track as a future agenda when activation approaches.
• Practice philosophy — "Impact creators, not fear creators" applies. The voice for kids is age-appropriate, but the philosophy is the same: name what they're already feeling about money, then show them what they can't yet see.

Voice

Voice and approach: see Practice philosophy in the My Office Tool parent page — expressed for a kids/parents audience. Where NGA speaks to "the business owner who feels profitable but broke," MoneyMinds speaks to "the child who hears about money but is never taught it," and to "the parent who wants their child to be financially confident but doesn't know where to start." Same philosophy, different cut.

Status

Not active for build work this week (Week 2). Captured here as an existing parallel workstream. Activates as a build agenda when:

1. The certification status is clear, AND
2. There's specific work needing planning beyond ongoing research For now: research continues via NotebookLM. Updates to this page when meaningful progress occurs.

2026-07-05 — Update from Claude Code (build session on the office PC)

Big step: the interactive HTML chapter book exists and works. MoneyMinds now has a second deliverable format alongside the school program: a premium, game-like interactive book — one self-contained HTML file per chapter that opens in any browser with zero setup. A child reads it alone or a teacher projects it. Chapter 1 ("What Is Money — And Why Does Everyone Want It?", Junior band) is built and QA-tested. Every chapter follows the locked 4-part learning loop:

1. Theory in easy language — concept cards with Indian examples + "CA in real life" lines (commodity vs fiat, 4 functions of money, liquidity, RBI damaged-note rules)
2. Story — choose-your-adventure (the Cyber Hub earbuds dilemma), both outcomes revealed
3. Quiz that earns money — ₹100 per correct answer into an on-screen wallet, stars, coin bursts
4. Do-it-yourself real-life activity — the Money Jar experiment, with parent discussion + signature line Plus: animated coin particle system, Zuzu (the existing squirrel mascot, real art) as the floating narrator who reacts to answers, progress bar, certificate finale with confetti and earnings. Mobile-responsive, print-friendly, no external libraries, no login, works offline. Production system, not a one-off: book_template.html (all machinery) + chapters/chapterN.json (all words) + node build_chapter.js chapterN → finished chapter. Chapter 2 onward = give Claude the module transcript, get JSON, build. Master curriculum prompt is written and saved. Workspace consolidated (Dishant's decision today): everything ed-tech now lives in one folder — H:\Shared drives\NGA\Claude\Ed-tech\ — including the book system (NGA_MoneyMinds_Book\), the April blueprint docs, session-handoff context files, and a synced copy of Claude Code's memory (claude-memory\) so any device can resume. A CLAUDE.md note in the folder instructs Claude Code on any machine to work there only. Cost decision held: zero API spend. Claude does the curriculum/writing in-session; images come from existing art or gemini.google.com on the Workspace plan (free). Nano Banana API was researched and deliberately skipped. Answer to this page's open certification question (from the April Master Blueprint work): the certification is NCFE Artha Shiksha — government-backed (NCFE: RBI/SEBI/IRDAI/PFRDA), free, ~20 modules / ~5 hrs, fully online: https://ncfearthashiksha.in/course/view.php?id=5. Students' credential = NFLAT. Publication-bound work still waits on it; book building can proceed. Next up:

• Generate Chintu (monkey, Spender) and Gilli (Saver) character sheets in Gemini — prompts ready in NGA_MoneyMinds_Book\images\README.md; Zuzu's art is the style anchor
• Chapter 2 ("Needs, Wants & the Habit of Saving") — needs the module transcript
• Dishant to complete NCFE Artha Shiksha certification (unblocks publishing/selling)

2026-07-05 (later) — Chapter 2 shipped + NotebookLM pipeline live

• NotebookLM connector authenticated and the course research notebook registered — Claude Code now queries the module transcripts directly. Full inventory done: 24 sources (NCFE Modules 4–15 videos + PDFs), enough for ~10–12 chapters.
• Chapter 2 — "Needs, Wants & the Habit of Saving" — built and QA-tested entirely from Modules 5 & 6 content: the 4 spending categories, the 4 goal-setting steps + SMART (Rafi example), Equation 1 vs Equation 2 (Buffett's save-first rule, the 5% starter rule), fixed vs variable expenses (Salman's 73% warning), a Diwali story at Galleria Market, and an "Expense Detective" home activity. Same ₹100-per-answer quiz wallet and certificate.

2026-07-06 — All visual assets complete; Chapters 1 & 2 fully illustrated

• The full character cast now exists as real art (₹0 spent — all via the Gemini app on the Workspace plan): Zuzu the squirrel (Guide, existing art), Chintu the monkey (Spender, golden hoodie) and Gilli the owl (Saver, coral scarf) — each with a 4-pose character sheet, cropped into individual poses and wired into the book.
• All 7 scene illustrations generated and placed: chapter cover (all three characters), barter market, RBI torn-notes, Cyber Hub earbuds shop, the four spending jars, fixed-vs-variable treasure chest, and the Diwali market at Galleria.
• Both chapter files rebuilt with 15/15 images embedded (~1.5 MB each, still single-file, auto-optimized). Every fallback placeholder is gone — cover, story panels, concept pages and certificate all show the real cast.
• The story film re-rendered with the real scenes and the polished narration.
• Tone polish (Dishant's feedback) applied everywhere: no slang (yaar/golgappe removed), no adult jargon (clients/invoices → families/school fees), kid-world examples, brand names removed. Rule codified in Ed-techCLAUDE.md for all future chapters.
• Deliverables: Ed-tech\NGA_MoneyMinds_Book\output\NGA_MoneyMinds_Chapter1.html, ...Chapter2.html, video\Chapter2_Story_TheDiwaliMoneyDecision.mp4.
