A6. MoneyMinds — Kids Finance Course

Financial education product for kids. Full scope (course, book, workshops, platform). BLOCKED on certification completion before publishing. Research underway via NotebookLM.

What this is

MoneyMinds is a financial education product for children. Distinct from NGA's CA practice, distinct from Nexus Growth Advisors' business advisory, distinct from Dishant's books for adult business owners. Audience: kids (and the parents who buy on their behalf). Format: the full product family — course content, possible book version, parent workshops, school programs, online platform. Not just one delivery method. Voice: the practice philosophy still applies (impact creators, not fear creators), but expressed through an audience-appropriate lens — financial confidence and clarity for kids, not the language of business owners.

Status: research / pre-publication

Currently in research phase. Source material is being gathered via NotebookLM transcription of research videos.

🚫 Critical blocker: certification required before publishing

Dishant has stated (2026-05-10): MoneyMinds cannot be published, marketed, or sold until a certification is completed. This means:

  • All downstream work (content production, course platform, audience building, sales, partnerships) waits on the certification
  • Research and curriculum drafting can proceed in parallel — they don't trigger publication
  • Marketing surfaces (A1 social posts about MoneyMinds, A2 website mentions, A4 book references) must NOT promote MoneyMinds publicly until the certification completes

Open questions about the certification (to fill in)

  • Which certification is it?
  • Issuing body (CFP / CISI / NISM / RBI / SEBI / other)?
  • Current status: not started / in progress / near complete?
  • Estimated completion: weeks / months / longer?
  • What happens if not completed: legal restriction on selling? Reputational only? Both?
  • Any prerequisites or co-requirements (CPD hours, prior qualifications)? This blocker is the single most important fact about A6 right now. Until the certification completes, all publication-bound work waits.

Approach

While certification is in progress, work that CAN proceed:

  1. Research — ongoing via NotebookLM, building source material library
  2. Curriculum design — outline, structure, age-appropriate progression
  3. Voice and positioning — how the practice philosophy translates to kids/parents
  4. Content sketches — not finalised, not published, but drafted for review later Work that CANNOT proceed until certification completes:
  5. Public marketing of MoneyMinds (no A1 posts, no A2 mention, no A4 book references)
  6. Course platform purchase/setup with MoneyMinds branding
  7. Sales pages, payment systems, audience building
  8. Partnership outreach to schools or platforms
  9. Press / media positioning

Tools currently in use

  • NotebookLM — transcribing research videos, will likely also be used for curriculum drafting and Q&A across source material. Added to the platform's tool inventory 2026-05-10.

Connections to other agendas

  • A4 (Books) — Adjacent. Books currently target adult business owners. A MoneyMinds book for kids/parents may emerge from this work — to be decided later.
  • A1 (Social media) — Currently speaks to business owners. A separate audience cluster (parents) may eventually need its own content surface. Defer until after certification.
  • A2 (Website)ngaca.net is for the CA firm. MoneyMinds may need its own website at some point. Track as a future agenda when activation approaches.
  • Practice philosophy — "Impact creators, not fear creators" applies. The voice for kids is age-appropriate, but the philosophy is the same: name what they're already feeling about money, then show them what they can't yet see.

Voice

Voice and approach: see Practice philosophy in the My Office Tool parent page — expressed for a kids/parents audience. Where NGA speaks to "the business owner who feels profitable but broke," MoneyMinds speaks to "the child who hears about money but is never taught it," and to "the parent who wants their child to be financially confident but doesn't know where to start." Same philosophy, different cut.

Status

Not active for build work this week (Week 2). Captured here as an existing parallel workstream. Activates as a build agenda when:

  1. The certification status is clear, AND
  2. There's specific work needing planning beyond ongoing research For now: research continues via NotebookLM. Updates to this page when meaningful progress occurs.
